Peter and I just came back from 4 days in Miami all by ourselves, no kids, dogs or chickens:) It was so relaxing and very much needed for both of us. It was a trip that Peter won with his work, so some of his collagues also went with their spouses.
We ate great food every day. this place was my favorite, It was called Barton G and was just amazing..

We stayed at the Ritz Carlton and the service was just amazing. All the towels had these beautiful flowers in them....

We got to take strols on the beach boardwalk...so nice and relaxing

That looks like so much fun. I'm sure you guys had a blast. And that view from your room! What's not to love. I always think the Florida rain is so strange... its always so warm. Glad you could get away.
